Treasures of World Meteorites
This is the most popular of all the programs offered by the Meteorite Museum, as it is intended for a wide audience with different levels of knowledge, starting with children and ending with specialists.
Meteorites are less common on Earth than gold, silver and diamonds. Jewelry is also made from meteorites. What are meteorites? How did they come about? What are the typical characteristics of meteorites? What are the largest meteorites in the world? What happens when an asteroid crashes into Earth? What traces does it leave? During the visit to the Meteorite Museum, we will look for answers to these and many other astronomical questions. And, literally, let's touch space ourselves.
